Sirens scream on empty streets
rush to the urgency of those in need
need some time to think it all over
feel so drunk with thoughts grim and sober
people watch and people stare
no-one moves and know one cares
anymore
In the dark a scream so faint
carries long on troubled minds
oh sweet black empty hope
stay close and true for the fallen
