It's 2:45 am and i can't sleep tonight
you told me that you had written me a letter
to expect it any day now
i ask you for all the clues
you told me i'd have to wait and see
for delivery of your words to me
Today is letter day / paper and a postage stamp
takes my gray skies away
You ask me if i still feel the same way / as yesterday
if i cut your name in to my arm with broken glass
would that be proof enough?
i'll miss you befor i finish writing the next line
Why does there have to be this distance between us?
you're so far way / forever lives in everyday
