I knew you would look. i knew you would jump in. i knew you would attack, dance and pretend, forget and defend. and you would say, a better way, to hide your bitter sides. and you sing along, you all sing along. fuck your bitter ways, i've seen better days. from tragety to imaginary, how many times have we reconciled? how many times have we exiled? (its this) vicious cycle, let's start again. expectations of what we'll never have. your feelings changing everything we had. (but yet it's more of a typical cycle now, isn't it?) like we got to the middle of the best book ever written and decided to burn every word that made us frown. save only the happy sounds and let the others drown. because its so much better to be complacent. it's so much easier to be deciving, to be believing. so lets us relive this again. rebirthed into another sad song.
