Her life is too complicated
the understatement
at least that's what she'd have you believe
the blown out of proportion
the overreaction
they're merely distractions
she waited and waited
by the phone but it didn't ring
and she wonders how he
could have believed her
when she told him ‘not to call'
she is lashing out at him
pushing him away with her words and her actions
trying to get him to strike before her
cutting her off at the pass but she planned it.
she's feeling
neglected
taken for granted. apathy.
harsh words and things she doesn't mean
‘it's all over'
‘move on'
she's going to
reject him
cause she believes that it's what best for him
she sabotaged everything they had
to make him hate her
to help him move on
she thinks his ideals are too outdated
looking for a person that never existed
and she knows this
resistance
she wanted nothing more
than to test the bounds of what they had
but it back fired
now she's alone and she hates it
thinking back on her mistakes and how to erase them
she had a mean streak didn't she.
