Wandering far from nowhere
i came across an old man working alone
he didn't notice me at all
but my past was written in his pictures
all over the sidewalk
 
i took a moment to look at them
but i had already seen them from the inside
scenes all to familiar now
i would have looked away
if i could have somehow

never asking where it led
not knowing my home
was the road i was on
