I grew up in a little town world
wasn't a lot there to see
where i was born when a little town girl
married my dad and had me

we lived in a neighborhood,
in a neighborhood.
and my whole world
was just three square blocks round,
and the top of the world
was up in my favorite tree.

someday i knew,
i would go back there to see
where i grew up
